Avantika Boutique Hotel.
Located on the south end of the beach road in Patong - this area is rapidly becoming home to a variety of unique hotels and resorts.  Close enough to walk to the action on Bangla Road - yet far enough away for a quiet stay.  Beautifully designed and nicely appointed - seaviews are available from most rooms.  If you enjoy Thai style - and want to stay in Patong -this might be the place for you.  Check out their photos page at Avantika Boutique Hotel.  You'll find the beach less crowded down on this end of the beach road

Ban Yin Dee
Patong's premier boutique hotel - located on the peninsula that climbs from the southern end of the beach road - and provides a great of view of the bay. Free transportation to and from Patong makes up for the fact that it is not an easy walk to and from town. 

Rich teak and Thai design give the resort a warm comfortable feeling.  The Ban Yin Dee photos page - can tell you much more than I could ever describe.  You might want to stay here for design ideas when you build your home on Phuket.

Sawadee Village
Character abounds in Phuket's stylish one-off resorts.  Sawadee Village is only one example.  Walking by on just an ordinary side street in Kata Beach - you'll have no idea of the paradise you are passing by.  Turn into the guarded pathway and you enter a true garden of delight!

 You really don't need to leave and go anywhere.  The pool and extraordinary gardens - just can't be beat.  This small and intimate resort is consistently reviewed excellently on TripAdvisor.com

Phuket has numerous boutique resorts and hotels.  They are generally "one-off" settings - and a bit more expensive, but usually worth the extra effort to find them - and worth the extra money.  They are often hidden away in places you wouldn't expect - so keep your eyes open - and spend a little time looking for them.
