Roma Italian Food Restaurant:
near Patong's Beach Road

One of Phuket's best Italian restaurants with great food at great prices.  A complete menu with everything you could want and a bright and cordial interior, this is where I go when I have a hankering for first class Italian food.

In the heart of Patong, just off the beach road, this is a great place to eat when you are cruising the street markets, or just out for an evening stroll along Phuket's Patong Beach.

About mid-way down the beach road (about 50 meters north of Watson's), keep an eye down the side sois for Roma's sign.  It'll be on the right side about 30 meters down the soi. They also have a sign on the main street but it is sometimes obscured by other signs - as they come and go.

The shop was closed for only a brief time after the 2005 tsunami - and came back with a fresh coat of paint - and a great attitude.  The chef and owner is cordial and quite interested in your meal being a pleasant success.

Take a stroll along Patong Beach after dinner.  In spite of the hubbub that is Patong, this beach and bay are truly lovely.

Try the handmade fresh ravioli - it cannot be beat anywhere, for any price. The pizzas are also delightful and well worth the price.
