Phuket's Nai Yang Beach is the setting for Andaman Seafood. The view across the small access road is not great - you'll get some glimpses of the sea - though the little beach shack restaurants will block your view a bit. But the food is hard to beat! It's worth the trip to just south of the Phuket Airport.
The restaurant offers primarily Thai food - but the quality and preparation are exceptional. I can recommend the Penang Gai (Penang Chicken Curry) - delicious and spicy. You'll find the staff friendly and helpful. The chef has been there quite some time and his preparations are truly exceptional. Look on any map for the Pearl Village Resort and you'll find this quality restaurant only 50 meters or so down the beach road heading north.
There is no sign that says "Andaman Seafood" at present - so look for the sign above for the Nai Yang Beach Resort - the restaurant belongs to the resort and is just ten meters south of the sign. After dinner take a stroll on Nai Yang beach - enjoy the sunset - and cruise the 20-odd other restaurants that line the beach there. Maybe next time?
